At the beginning of this ceremony and following Qur’an recitation, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Barsalani talked about pilgrimage prescripts and then Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimiin Seyyed Hossein Momeni delivered his lecture.
Addressing people in this glorious ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Momeni stated, "Going on pilgrimage of the Household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) provides the pilgrim with lots of blessings and good fortunes to which many traditions have referred. Islam Prophet (S.A.W.) says in a tradition: I will go, on the Day of Judgment, to personally visit whoever comes to visit me and my descendants".
"Prayers of a pilgrim in such pilgrimages will definitely be answered unless he himself hampers its fulfilment by committing some sins", he emphasized.
This seminary school professor reiterated, "Defining the meaning of Imam, Imam Reza (A.S.) says: Imam is like a comrade, companion, a kind father, a matched brother, and a sacrificing mother toward his little kid".
He mentioned, "The text of the tradition which is a very reliable one refers to the role of an Imam (A.S.) among people perfectly. Based on this tradition, Imam (A.S.) is a trustworthy person both for God and people. Imam (A.S.) is the best friend who has made friendship just because of followers’ benefit not for the sake of his personal benefit".
Hujjat al-Islam Momeni asserted, "Imam (A.S.) is more merciful than any mother and brother since relatives’ affection has roots in emotions and they will not usually result in people’s happiness. An Imam (A.S.), however, is a kind person whose aim is to give eternal happiness to his followers. This person will be a supporter and assistant for those followers both in this world and in the hereafter as well".
Seminary School professor announced, “Imam’s (A.S.) father-like favor has always done for the Shias; most people are not aware of this fact, however. All the infallible Imams (A.S.) have been doing their fatherly duty at any time, but have we done our mutual duty toward this compassionate father?”
It is noteworthy that following this lecture, Saeed Hadadian recited Jame Kabireh prayer.
