Daḥw al-Arḍ Day Ceremony Was Held with the Vast Presence of Pilgrims at Razavi Shrine.

Coincident with the sunset of 25th of Dhi al-Qaeda, the ceremony of Daḥw al-Arḍ Day (the spreading of the Earth out of water at the time of creation), with the vast presence of pilgrims and neighbors of Imam Reza (A.S.) was held in Grand Razavi Courtyard.

At the beginning of the ceremony, after the recitation of the Qur'an Hujjat al-Islam Barsalani explained the pilgrimage religious percepts and later Hajj Mahdi Sarvari read the Ja’me al-Kabireh Prayer.
Hujjat al-Islam Momeni also lectured at the grand ceremony and said, “Daḥw al-Arḍ Day coincident with the 25th of the month of Dhi al-Qaeda, is the day when the Lord with regard to the planet enlivened the earthly world and from this day, parts of the earth which was all under the water began to dry, gradually becoming a quarter of today's land.”
“The Holy Qur’an has cited Daḥw al-Arḍ. The Lord says in verse 30 of Surah Al-Nazi'at: Thereafter He spread out the earth (the creation of heaven and earth),” the professor of Qom's seminary school stated.
“The earth was originally in the form of slopes and heights, or steep and uninhabitable slopes; later flood rains continued to sweep the heights of the earth and valleys spread, little by little flat lands that could be used for human life, cultivation and plowing were created and the total of this expansion is called ‘Daḥw al-Arḍ,’” he added.
“Daḥw al-Arḍ is a great sign for us, which the Lord can do whatever he wants, so when we go to the Lord presence for prayer we do not despair,” he continued.
“Prayer has abundant material and spiritual effects, and the most obvious of these effects and material blessings is the rest and peace of heart, it is very important for human to enter into dialogue with the Lord. In the definition of prayer, the great scholar Tabatabai says, ‘Do something that the Lord looks at you, make a sound so that the Lord will look at you through it” Hujjat al-Islam Momeni expressed.
“Letting us to pray implies fulfilling; however, the method of fulfilling must be entrusted to the Lord as he sees fit because we only see our limited front,” he emphasized.
