Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine Drowned in Joy on His Birthday Night.

Concurrent with the night of the birthday anniversary of the learned of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.), Razavi Holy Shrine is filled with joy and Illumination and all porticos and courtyards smell rosewater and aloes-wood.

On the night of the birthday of Imam Ali b.Musa al-Reza (A.S.) the whole Iran, especially the holy city of Mashhad is drowned in light and joy.
The devotees of the eighth Imam (A.S.) participated in the traditional ritual of flower raining the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) in Shuhada Square at 6 p.m. and entered the Holy Shrine with tearful eyes.
Tonight, pilgrims from near and far gather at the Razavi Holy Shrine to celebrate the 1291st birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.).
From all the streets leading to the Holy Shrine, the call of "Reza, Reza" is heard and syrup and sweets are everywhere.

According to the special planning, the birthday celebration will begin at 18:30 at the Razavi grand courtyard and will continue until 12:00 a.m. At the ceremony, Ayatollah Muhammad Saeedi, the Custodian of Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (S.A.) and Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi will deliver speech.
