First Phase of Razavi Pilgrim House Inauguration.

In line with the emphasis of the Supreme Leader on the path to revere pilgrims of Razavi Shrine and upon the orders of the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi and also in order to serve the deprived pilgrims, the first phase of the Razavi pilgrim house was opened in the Chaman district of Mashhad.
After the opening of the first phase of the of Razavi Pilgrim City during the Karamat Ten-day Celebrations in the past year, this evening, with the presence of Ayatollah Noori Hamedani, the prominent religious authority of the Islamic world, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi; the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Taqizadeh Khamesi, Mayor of Mashhad and a group of officials from Astan Quds Razavi and Mashhad, the first phase of the Razavi pilgrim house was opened in the Chaman district of Mashhad.
The distance between the Razavi pilgrim house and Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Shrine is about 2,200 meters. The first phase of this pilgrim house in a space of over 12,000 square meters possesses a total of 150 units, put into operation in eight blocks.
Six blocks of this pilgrim house in the form of suites and two blocks, in the form of congregational settlements in two stories have been constructed which, in total, accommodate more than 900 pilgrims per day.
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the Razavi pilgrim house, Ayatollah Noori Hamedani, the prominent religious authority of the Islamic world, visited various sections of the establishment.
