The 2nd phase of Razavi Pilgrim City Will Be Operational Next Year.

Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, "The second phase of Razavi pilgrim city will come in operation till end of the current Persian year or beginning of the next year”.


Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Razavi pilgrim house, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi referred to the necessity of providing all means for the convenience of the Razavi illuminated shrine pilgrims, reminded, "With respect to the lack of space for accommodating Razavi pilgrims in Mashhad, four camps in the city’s outskirt have been chosen for the pilgrims which were not appropriate for the pilgrims of the eighth Imam (A.S.)". Raeisi also said, “Despite vast endeavors made by different organizations, pilgrims faced lots of problems in their accommodation ". 
He added, "Razavi pilgrims city came into operation last year and it rendered its first services to the people who had not come, because of financial problems, to the Razavi pilgrimage before that time". He also said, "An average number of one thousand persons who was visiting Razavi Shrine for the first time were accommodated and visited Imam Reza’s (A.S.) shrine during this period". 
Member of the assembly of experts reiterated, “Some groups of these pilgrims have been accommodated in Razavi pilgrim city and the rest of them in hostels around the Razavi complex. Launching this part of Razavi pilgrim house will add to the existing capacity in a way that needy pilgrims can have a memorable spiritual pilgrimage in Mashhad". 
He stated, "The second phase of this pilgrim city will bring into operation till the end of the current Persian year or beginning of the next year and it can create a new capacity in facilitation of poor people’s pilgrimage".
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi said, “Our policy is not to be a competitor for the private sector. All these capacities are to support pilgrims in need and they are all a step to facilitate pilgrimage through cooperation with people and private sector”.
