The first phase of Razavi pilgrim house as one of the biggest service projects for the pilgrims of the eighth Imam (A.S.) will come into operation tomorrow Monday, July 23rd. The project will be opened with the presence of Ayatollah Noori Hamedani, great Shia authority of imitation, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian, and a group of administrative managers.
Speaking on the features of this grand project, Astan Quds Razavi’s technical and civil affairs deputy said, "Razavi pilgrim house was constructed and came into use in accordance with intentions of Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian and for the purpose of providing better convenience of the pilgrims of Hazrat Reza (A.S.). This facility will render notable services to the Iranian people".
Khalil Akbari referred to the eighty two thousand square meter space of this project and went on to say, "All the area of this project’s buildings is about fifty thousand square meters. The first phase of this project in a space of twelve thousand square meter is going to be opened in eight blocks".
Referring to the fifteen-month period for constructing this first phase of the project, he added, "Six out of eight blocks of the first phase have been built in suite forms and two blocks have been constructed in two floors for the use of religious groups. These rooms provide accommodation for nine hundred people per day".
Astan Quds Razavi’s deputy of technical and civil affairs also announced on the sixty-percent advancement of the second phase and said, "This phase is one and a half time larger than the first phase and it has the capacity to serve one thousand and five hundred people every day. We hope to bring this phase into service up to the end of the year".
Regarding the construction of the third phase, Akbari stressed, “According to the order issued by the organization’s custodian, help and support of the benefactors and investors will be used for constructing this part of the project".
