The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad begins to secure the land road of pilgrimage.

The leadership of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad announced that it is implementing a plan to secure the road between Iraq and Saudi Arabia (Nukhayb - 'Ar'ar) by three brigades, including an armored brigade, after receiving the duty assigned by the Middle Euphrates Operations Command at the meeting last month at the headquarters of the squad.

The command of the squad said in a statement that it is hoped to complete the deployment of units of the Armored Brigade early next August, which will witness in its middle, the start of the land journeys of pilgrimage through the port 'Ar'ar border with Saudi Arabia by the Iraqi Hajj and Umrah Body.

On the other hand, the commander of the fourth brigade (the brigade of Imam Ali peace be upon him) Sayed. Abbas Abu Tabikh stated that the brigade received the first administrators of the Haj and Umrah Iraqi Body heading towards the Holy Land this week to prepare the requirements of pilgrims' service.

Ali Hussein Neshmi, commander of the 3rd Brigade (Umm Al Baneen peace be upon him) in the squad, said that his brigade completed its preparations in the Nukhayb area to receive the pilgrims in the rest house, waiting for the cadres of the Hajj Authority to receive service sites and set up their facilities.

It should be noted that part of the forces of the Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has held security in the Nukhayb area for three years under the supervision of the Middle Euphrates Operations Command without any case of a security breach.
