Karamat Ten-day Programs with Centrality of “Under the Shade of the Sun” Celebrations.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Hojjat Gonabadi Nejad stressed, “With respect to the importance of birth and martyrdom days of Imam Reza (A.S.), Astan Quds Razavi custodian issued an order for founding a headquarter for special occasions last year. This center has the accountability to program, coordinate, and manage all the programs held during special occasions”.  
Referring to the presence of five committees in special occasions headquarter at Astan Quds Razavi, he stated, “Taking the advantage of a group of elites, cultured people and experts, the committee which is in charge of contents of the programs determine the necessary and essential contents for the Karamat Ten-day Celebrations. Committee of provinces, Razavi Shrine committee, international committee, and media affairs committee were also formed and programming and organizing all celebrations of Karamat Ten-day were held through cooperation with all sections of Astan Quds Razavi”. 
He reiterated, “Cultural organizations and national headquarter of Karamat Ten-day have had a special attention toward Astan Quds Razavi headquarter of Karamat Ten-day and 1500 municipalities in all over the country have had special partnership in Karamat Ten-day celebrations thanks to the good interaction of ours with cultural deputies of Iranian metropolis’s municipalities”.  
Head of Astan Quds Razavi special occasions headquarter stated, “We hope to do, by public cooperation during Karamat Ten-day, special actions in the areas of honoring religious rites, promoting knowledge, and reviving Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) conducts”. 
Noting that the motto of this year’s Karamat Ten-day is “Generous Service”, he added, “The motto of Razavi Karamat Ten-day originates form Imam Reza’s (A.S.) conduct and in accordance with a part of Jame’e supplication saying 'Goodness is your eternal program, and your ethics are honorable' on one side and covers today’s needs of the society particularly giving hand to the needy and also the need to settle people’s problems on the other hand. The motto of “Bountiful Service” was also welcomed by the national headquarter of this auspicious ten-day and was chosen as the national motto for all programs”. 
Saying that social attach has been considered for all the programs of Astan Quds Razavi during these days, Gonabadi Nejad asserted, “Contents of this year’s programs are fully in line with the policy of developing concepts of service, servant, and the receiver of the service which is one of the policies of Astan Quds Razavi”. 
He went on to say, “People have always been present in religious ceremonies and it’s better to put this presence alongside with needs and priorities of the society so that all society members can enjoy these ceremonies in their life”.
Head of Astan Quds Razavi’s head quarter of special occasions said, “Refreshing social approach of “Bountiful Service” in Karamat Ten-day celebrations as a religious and cultural occasion, we can see continuation of such celebrations with the name of serving the poor with respect to the Imam’s (A.S.) conduct”. 
Hujjat al-Islam Gonabadi Nejad reiterated, “The difference between this year’s programs of Karamat Ten-day Celebrations and those of previous years is that all programs of this year are held with centrality of under the shade of the sun celebrations. Qur’an recitation courses, dispatching missionaries, identifying those who have never come to Mashhad, anthem groups, distributing foodstuff packs among the poor, offering dowries and money support for marriage are some programs added to the activities of under the shade of the sun caravans”.
He reminded, “In addition to various cities, towns, and villages in our country, under the shade of the sun celebrations are held in India, Bangladesh, Belgium, Germany, France, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Turkmenistan, and Netherlands. Over three million Razavi blessed packs including salt, sugar, and cologne and also 200 thousand books are distributed by the Razavi servants among different groups of people in these celebrations”.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Gonabadi Nejad stated, “We hope under the shade of the sun celebrations can lead to faithful joy among people and settle some problems of people”. 
Pointing to the prevalence of household of apostle of God’s (A.S.) love, he added, “People are the main authors and founders of under the shade of the sun celebrations. Astan Quds Razavi’s dispatched groups only take a flag with the name of Imam Reza (A.S.) among people and many hearts are attracted to Imam Reza (A.S.)”. 
“We tried to involve Mashhad’s different neighborhoods in Karamat Ten-day celebrations, through cooperation with cultural apparatus of the city. Karamat City festival was held with this very approach to support popular activities and needed items for the celebrations are distributed by means of mosques. To stead these celebrations in neighborhoods, Qur’an reciter, panegyrist, and anthem groups are dispatched”, Gonabadi Nejad added.  
Head of Astan Quds Razavi’s headquarter of special occasions stated, “Selected persons of eight neighborhoods were appreciated at the end of Karamat City festival and some exquisite gifts were conferred to them”.
He stressed, “Eighty books will be unveiled at Astan Quds Razavi’s publications during Karamat Ten-day celebrations and a national contest of reading with the topic of Imam Reza (A.S.) from the source book of Da’bal va Zolfa is also held”. Coming to the end of his remarks, Gonabadi Nejad stated, “Seventy music videos and five specific anthems have been produced in the area of cultural productions on the occasion of Razavi Karamat Ten-day which will be shown in media”.
