Cultured Women Should Be Pioneers in Cultural and Social Areas.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, in the closing ceremony of the third Goharshad World Award which was held in the Quds Hall of Razavi Holy Shrine emphasized, “Women’s identity was being assassinated by the hegemony, the rights of women include playing a role in society and bringing it to development; however, in the name of freedom, women are stripped of freedom.”
“Cultured women should be pioneers in cultural and social spheres and without women’s role, cultural and social changes will not occur,” Member of the Expediency Council stated. 
He also pointed out the value and place of philanthropy and righteousness in the world and said, “Many in the world claim righteousness; nonetheless, the measure we have for righteousness is derived from good thoughts and motives.”
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, mentioned introducing figures such as Lady Goharshad to further facilitate the consolidation of culture of generosity and dignity and expressed, “The secretariat of the Goharshad World Award must be active in attracting girls and future prospects of the country and introduce cultured and benevolent ladies as a model to society.”
Referring to the fact that some in the world exploit the goodness to secure a position or attract the attention of others, he added, “Every generosity is not dignity, the first indicator of dignity is in godliness and attention to the creator of the universe, also the figures of the world in the fields of science, art etc., are in abundance; regardless, the magnanimous are few.”
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, highlighting that the role of the women in the modern society has flourished with the blessing of the Islamic Revolution noted, “Goharshad World Award has been foreseen as a symbolic movement by the name of a cultured lady who shines in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) for further shining of charity among women and it becomes deeper and more extensive year by year.
