Hujjat al-Islam Jalayian, in the special program of religion, vivacity, life held at 18:00 in the Islamic Republic Courtyard of Razavi Holy Shrine said, “Human has many responsibilities in both individual and social spheres and human evolution becomes possible by accepting and fulfilling these responsibilities decently.”
“Responsibilities are different, depending on the type, age and character. Anyone who does or does not do anything remains responsible and each clan has a different interrogation method,” he emphasized, stating that all of us would be accountable for our responsibilities in the hereafter.
“Everyone has different assignments from different perspectives or, in other words, there is a responsibility for everyone. Since human related to different levels including relationship with his creator, social communication and environmental relation, the type of responsibility turn up also different,” the religious expert stressed.
“Only in the light of a sense of responsibility toward society, the observance of others’ rights makes sense and the inauspiciousness of cruelty and oppression becomes apparent. Also for this reason seeing the suffering of hunger and poverty and grief in the face of others hurts the human soul and indifference to him becomes an unfamiliar word,” Hujjat al-Islam Jalayian said.
“Man must recognize himself, or, in other words, be self-conscious. From the religious viewpoint, a person who does not recognize themselves is naturally mistaken in the diagnosis of perfection and chooses the path of aberrance, because humans through knowing themselves stays free from the temptation of the devil and desires,” he proclaimed, emphasizing that humans are responsible for himself.
“A person who has succeeded in knowing himself and has achieved salvation and beatitude stands a jovial and calm person and there is no unrest and grief in him, does not envy others and also is not fastidious, sensitive, nervous, aggressive and rude,” the seminary professor remarked.
He referred to seeking righteousness as one of the responsibilities of human and stated, “truthfulness and seeking to know the truth is something embedded in human nature. This issue has been repeatedly expressed in the Qur’an and traditions.”
