Periodontology and Tooth Implant Services at Imam Reza (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa.

Naser Sargolzaei sadi, “In order to upgrade the qualitative and quantitative services of various sections at Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa and to promote specialized services of dentistry clinic of this center, services of periodontology and implant are added to the existing services of this center”.
Emphasizing that Astan Quds Razavi medical institute has bought some equipment for promoting service levels of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa, he added, “Some other devices and equipment have also been bought for the purpose of offering services of periodontology and those of tooth implant. These kinds of services are being offered for the first time at this clinic”.
Sargolzaei introduced periodontology and tooth implant as one of the modern specialized dentistry services and stated, “Tooth implant uses one ttitanium screw which is used as a substitute of lost tooth’s root. This screw is implanted to the jawbone”.
This dentist and gum and implant specialist went on to say, “In the past, lost teeth were replaced with artificial teeth which created many problems for the person’s beauty and eating. Also, the patient was compelled to pay lots of exorbitant money for this substitution”.   
Noting that they are trying to build a separate and specialized part for dental implant in near future at Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa, he said, “At the moment, best quality services of tooth implant is done for the public particularly the Razavi pilgrims at this polyclinic by using existing facilities and exploiting least amount of money”.
Sargolzaei referred to the 13100 people who enjoyed the services of this polyclinic during the first three months of the current year, he added, “Examination services, dragging teeth, and teeth restoration had highest number of patients during this time respectively”.
Saying that best kind of tools and materials are used at the dental clinic of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa, he reiterated, “Examination, prosthetics, restoration, surgery, scaling, tooth root cure, tooth drag and radiography are other services of this ply clinic”.
CEO of Astan Quds Razavi’s medical institute continued, “This polyclinic has got eight units, OPG devices, and ordinary radiography”. He also said, “It has been tried to offer services with best quality and lowest amount of expense in comparison to other medical centers of the city”.    
It is reminded that all the citizens and pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) can enjoy the services of this center in two shifts of morning and afternoon. The polyclinic of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa is located at the first floor of the center and next to the Razavi Holy Shrine.
