Sayed Thaqeb Diya' is one of the eight people who made this experience together. He stated that they set off from the city of Hyderabad in India, to go to the border with Pakistan to travel a distance of (2300 km). Ad because they were prevented from entering Pakistan, they returned to the city of Mumbai, India, to travel by plane to the Republic of Iran, to arrive to the Iranian city of Kerman to start their march to the border of Iraq, walking a distance of (1300 km) to be able to finally reach their destination and meet their beloved and loved Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
Mr. Thaqeb explained: "The journey was very difficult, especially when we entered Iranian territory, because of its mountainous nature that was impeding our march, in addition to other major challenges such as access to food and drink, but thanks to the blessings of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) that were embracing us all the way long and we were able to overcome these obstacles and difficulties, and we were able to reach the holy city of Karbala and be honored to perform the Ziyarat of his holy shrine."
Indicating: "We did not determine the number of hours on our journey, but we defined the distances we would walk, specifying points for resting. Our daily walked distance was between 25 and 30 kilometers."
Adding: "As soon as we arrived to the Iraqi land, we had a different feeling from the one we had in the other countries, whether India or Iran, as we witnessed the warm welcome of the Iraqis who were offering us all that can help us to arrive successfully to our destination: Karbala."
