The square between Karbala's holy shrines hosts an exhibition of plastic arts to commemorate the heroism of the popular mobilization.

The square between the two holy shrines hosts a large exhibition of plastic arts and photos with the participation of an elite of artists from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala, in order to commemorate the sacrifices and heroism of the popular mobilization and security forces for the defence of Iraq and its sanctities as well as for providing the support to the displaced families.


The exhibition is held within the activities of the Fatwa for Defense Festival, and was launched Friday morning 14th of Shawwal 1439 AH, corresponding to June 29, 2018. Mr. Abbas Radi, supervisor of the exhibition stated to AlKafeel Network: "There are more than 100 artistic work participating in the exhibition including 46 painting of 33 painters belonging to the Anamel al-Hadara Institution for arts as well as Arabic calligraphy art works, in addition to sculpture and large free drawing mural."

He added: "There was an artistic participation of the artist Amina Diab from the province of Dhi Qar by 26 official portrait of a group pf martyrs of the popular mobilization.

The staff of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has also participated through the AlKafeel Center for Imaging and Artistic production by 20 photographs, and the Childhood Division participated with 10 photographs along with poems about the sacrifices of the popular mobilization forces."
