Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminihad said, “Due to the large presence of non-Iranian pilgrims during the spiritual days of Ramadan at the Razavi Holy Shrine, this Management performed various cultural, Qur’anic and religious special programs.”
He described the cultural competitions as one of the most comprehensive cultural programs of the Razavi Holy Shrine and stated, “The competition is held in order to answer questions, understand religious affairs and scientific satisfaction of the audience, which constitutes one of the most effective occasional programs.”
Hasheminihad, highlighting the distribution of more than 2,000 leaflets daily among non-Iranian pilgrims expressed, “The leaflets of these competitions were distributed in the Ghadir Courtyard and Dar al-Marhameh Portico for the Arab-speaking pilgrims, in the Kowsar Portico for Urdu-speaking pilgrims and in Dar al-Rahmah Portico for the Azeri-speaking pilgrims.”
“One of the goals of the competition is to pay attention to the understanding of religious matters and the issues of the holy month of Ramadan, laws, traditions and Qur’anic verses along with education,” he added, pointing out that the questions of the tournament are from the top religious sources.
“Precious awards will be bestowed to the chosen ones of the day” the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi remarked.
