The Activities of Astan Quds Razavi during the Holy Month of Ramadan Were Portrayed.

Commenting on Astan Quds Razavi’s activities during the holy month of Ramadan, Seyyed Morteza Bakhtiari explained that the kitchen of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), during the holy month of Ramadan cooked 30,000 hot meals each night and said, “From this number, 13,000 servings, special catering for fasting neighbors in the Razavi Ikram banquet as the largest Iftar table of the Islamic world have been distributed at the Hidayat Courtyard of the Holy Shrine and 17,000 servings have been dedicated to the pilgrims daily in the Hazrat guesthouses.”
Referring to the fact that this year during the holy month of Ramadan, 10,000 hot servings were distributed in the suburbs of the city of Mashhad each night, he said, “Furthermore, at the same time as the Iftar of the Hidayat Courtyard and the Hazrat guesthouses, light Iftar packages in the ranks of evening and night prayers were distributed among pilgrims on the courtyards of the Holy Shrine during the holy month of Ramadan, and totally more than two million light Iftaris were distributed in the courtyards of the Holy Shrine and evening and night prayer ranks.”
“On the Qadr nights, due to the large presence of pilgrims and neighbors in the Heavenly Court of Imam Reza (A.S.), all the levels of sacred places, and the U-turn entrances to Imam Reza’s Illuminated Court were carpeted with more than 350,000 square meters of carpet, which had been added to the carpet service department of the Holy Shrine,” he stated.
Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, stating that during the holy month, 10,000 servants worked around the clock to serve the pilgrims and neighbors of Razavi Court, said, “During the graceful month of Ramadan, 100 promotional programs were held in different hours daily, and in the twenty courtyards of the Holy Shrine which were accompanied by a very good reception of the pilgrims.”
“During the holy month of Ramadan, fourteen places of Tartil recitation and Qur’an fondness daily, and 420 Qur’an recitation positions in general, by the presence of the prominent international Qur’an reciters were held in the Holy Shrine, as well as eight daily Qur’an interpretation sessions by the presence of outstanding scholars of the country at the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Shrine,” he added.
Bakhtiari, expressing that fifteen daily and a total of 450 promotional lecture sessions by the presence of the celebrated preachers of the country were held in the Holy Shrine added, “Qadr nights ceremony specialized for Arab and Urdu pilgrims in Dar Al-Marhamah and Kowsar Courtyards and special vigil ritual of children and adolescents has also been held on Qadr nights at Razavi Holy Shrine.”
“1350 religious question sessions, and more than 300,000 religious questions were asked during the holy month of Ramadan through telephone from the answering unit to Shari’a questions of the Holy Shrine” he pointed out.
Bakhtiari mentioned being the host to 4000 seclusion participants in the Holy Shrine and deployment of more than sixty promotional and jihadi groups to the deprived areas of the Mashhad suburbs, among other measures of Astan Quds Razavi during the holy month of Ramadan.
