Javad Farahmand Nejad talked about this issue and said, “A collection related to this significant day including embossed tableau, golden sign, mosaic model, and memorial tag exist in Astan Quds Razavi’s museum for public visit”.
He stated, “Memorial badge of international conference of Supporting Palestinian People’s Islamic Revolution known as “Quds Lana” is one of the precious objects of this collection”. He also said, “This great piece has been shaped with etching technique”.
Regarding features of this object, Farahmand Nejad said, “This memorial badge has been formed in 27×40 cm and it has been dedicated to the museum by International Conference of Supporting Palestinian People in 1370/1991”.
Shell mosaic model of Qubbat As-Sakhrah (Dome of Rock) mosque is another object of this collection with the size of 40×23 cm which was awarded by Ahamad Jebrael secretary general of people’s front for liberation of Palestine in 1373/ 1994”.
Farahmand Nejad added, “Seven-color shells have been used in creation of this work. The first verse of Asra Surah has been written on it”.
The golden sign of “Al-Sakhreh Mosque of Quds” was introduced by him as another object of this collection. He said, “This golden sign which its size is 13×10 cm was awarded by president of Dawa University, Lebanon branch in 1379/ 1999”.
Saying that this sign is in a glass box, Farahmand Nejad said “The object has got two connected golden plates. An embossed picture of al-Sakhrah mosque can be seen on the upper plated and on the lower one a picture of earth”.
Head of Office of Research and Introducing Works at Astan Quds Razavi’s museums also introduced mosque shell model of Qubbat As-Sakhrah mosque which has been created with size of 39×59 cm as another work related to Palestine offered by Islamic Resistance movement, Hamas”.
Referring to a painting tableau with size of 64×52 cm on Palestine, Javad Farahmand Nejad said, “This work of art has been offered by martyr Ramah Faiz al-Hosseini’s father”. Model of Quds created with the technique of mosaic and using shells with the size of 29×39 cm was introduced by him as another valuable object of this collection dedicated by Ismail Haniyeh.
It is worth mentioning that all these objects are items presented to the Supreme Leader and they are now in Public display for both Razavi pilgrims and Mashhad citizens at museum of the Supreme Leader’s gifts at Razavi Shrine’s Kowthar Courtyard. The center is open from Saturday to Wednesday from 8 a.m. up to 12:30 p.m. It renders its services since 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and also on all holidays 8 a.m. to 12a.m.
