Rituals of the revival of the first night of Qadr; the wound of Imam Ali (PBUH) at al-Abbas(AS) Holy Shrine.

It is narrated that the eve of the nineteenth of this holy month is one of the blessed nights that are considered holy as the Almighty Allah has opened the door of repentance and forgiveness for us so we can hope for His Mercy and Generosity, seeking intercession of our holy Imams (peace be upon them).

As usual in such blessed day, the believers have revived the first night of Qadr in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which were either done collectively or individually. The holy shrine has provided large numbers of books of the Holy Quran and of supplications in addition to prepare special places for these rituals either inside or inside the holy sanctuary, for men and women separately.

The holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was filled with the believers, who came to revive this night with supplication of raising Quran, prayers, reading the Holy Quran and other supplications special of this night, seeking to be saved for the Hell.

The believers have also commemorated the calamity of the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them), by attending to a religious lecture and participating in the condolences' Majlis.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared within its program for the holy month of Ramadhan special activities for this days in which we commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them), as well as the revival of the holy nights of Qadr, by a series of special religious lectures every night of the holy month of Ramadhan, starting from the eve of the wound of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) until his martyrdom anniversary, followed by lamentations and condolences' Majlis. The holy shrine has also prepared all that is needed by the visitors to perform their worship and Ziyarat rituals.
