Dr. Naser Sargolzai announced, "Given the vigorous presence of pilgrims of the Razavi Holy Shrine during the ceremonies of the Qadr nights, the establishment of temporary emergency medical centers and emergency facilities at all parts of the Razavi Holy Shrine, as well as the increase in medical force in Dar al-Shafa was put on agenda."
"Eight permanent bases and 32 mobile medical emergencies and more than ten ambulances, in cooperation with various centers under the supervision of Astan Quds Razavi Medical Institute, will render service to pilgrims on the nineteenth, twenty-first and twenty-third nights of Ramadan, across the courtyards and porticos of the Razavi Holy Shrine", he continued.
Sargolzai pointed to the presence of a group of nurses, social workers and doctors in these bases adding, "More than 120 Red Crescent social workers, five 115 emergency ambulances, four ambulance devices of the north east of the Revolutionary Guard, along with four ambulance units of the Medical Institute will be ready to serve pilgrims."
Noting that the permanent medical emergency center of the Hedayat courtyard is conducting the medical services to the pilgrims, he added, "Permanent medical emergencies at the Inqilab, Jumhuri, Azadi, Goharshad and the Grand Razavi courtyards are allocated to brothers and permanent medical emergencies in Hatamkhani and Hazrat Masoumeh (S.A.) porticos are exclusive to sisters."
Pointing to the round-the-clock operation of permanent emergency centers at the Razavi Hospital during the year, Managing Director of Astan Quds Razavi Medical Institute said, "Considering the huge number of people at Razavi Holy Shrine on the Qadr nights, the mobile stations are added at the entries and the exits of the Razavi Holy Shrine, especially in the courtyards that lack a fixed base."
"For rendering better service, the forces at these bases are increased. For example, an emergency medicine specialist will serve at the Razavi Grand courtyard, in Bab al-Reza (A.S.)", he added.
Emphasizing that the medical emergency center of Hedayat courtyard had opened recently, he said, "This is a permanent base with six beds and two beds specially designed for CPR medical treatment, emergency medicine doctors and nurses, assisted by the Razavi Health Workers."
"Dar al-Shafa of Imam Reza (A.S.), involving a specialist in emergency medicine, general practitioners and increased nursing staff, as well as the active laboratory and radiology is ready to serve pilgrims", he said.
"Astan Quds Razavi Medical Institute is ready to provide services to people by calling extension 2424 and the general number 32002424 round-the-clock, so that pilgrims can pray peacefully on the Qadr nights", Managing Director of Astan Quds Razavi Medical Institute said.
