Goharshad World Award is a Charity-based Cultural Flow.

The Secretary of the Goharshad Award described this conference as a charity-based cultural flow.


Ali Sarvari Majd at the scientific conference of "Razavi Culture and Lady Goharshad", which was held with the participation of the elite from Afghanistan and Iran, described the goals of holding Goharshad World Award.
"Astan Quds Razavi is aimed at promoting the teachings of the Qur'an and the household of the Apostle of God (A.S.) in order to promote charity-based culture", he added.
Referring to the two Goharshad Awards in the Karamat celebration days of 1395 and 1396, he said, "In each round, eight internationally renowned women were awarded the World Award."
Majd viewed organizing the scientific pre-conferences as promoter of benevolent acts and said, "According to the approvals of the secretariat, the first conference was held with the participation of scholars from the two countries of Afghanistan and Iran."
He recounted the endowments of Goharshad and the cultural and geographic affinity of these two regions as the reason of scientific meetings on the recognition of the different dimensions of her actions.
"The conference will focus on the recognition of the female existential dimensions in Islamic culture, which will be the focus of this conference", he added.
He also described the self-sacrifice, martyrdom, resistance and Islamic awakening, the scientific, educational and research actions, efforts in the cultural and media fields, endowment, civil affairs, medicine, management and entrepreneurship as charity-based criteria for the selection of the Goharshad Award.
