Equipped emergency center of Hedayat Courtyard of Razavi Holy Shrine was opened earlier today with the presence of Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian and a group of deputies and managers of this holy organization.
On the sideline of this ceremony the custodian said, “Paying attention to the health of pilgrims in Razavi Holy Shrine and its sacred premises is inevitable and one of the basic duties of the organization”.
Noting that we have to take our greatest effort to form an ensuring visit and an out of injury and diseases pilgrimage for Razavi pilgrims in Mashhad and Razavi Holy Shrine, Hujjat al-Islam wa al Muslimin Raeisi said, “Dar al-Shifa offers lots of various services to patients; however, these services were not enough in emergency situations and this center was established today in order to finish such shortcoming”.
He went on to say, “Some other medical and emergency centers will be launched in other parts of the Razavi Complex soon so that Razavi pilgrims can have accessibility to these services during special crowded occasions as soon as possible”.
In continuation of this ceremony, Astan Quds Razavi’s director of medical institute talked about services of emergency center at Hedayat Courtyard and said, “This center was launched in line with the emphasis of Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian in order to prioritize the health of Razavi pilgrims. This medical center was also launched as number of pilgrims has increased every day and also because of long distance between Razavi Shrine and medical centers”.
Naser Sargolzaei introduced medical emergency center at Hedayat Courtyard as the most complete center of this kind at Razavi Complex and added, “This center was opened in a space of 120 square meters with eight emergency beds out of which six is for inpatients and two for CPR patients”.
Expressing that the most updated equipment has been employed in Hedayat Courtyard’s medical center, he stressed, “This center is equipped by ventilator, electroshock, and monitor”.
Emphasizing that medical center of the Razavi Shrine’s Hedayat Courtyard will be handled by the health servants of the Razavi Holy Shrine, he went on to say, “A specialist of emergency medicine, a general practitioner, and six nurses are working 24/7 at this center and emergency services of brothers and sisters are done separately by man and woman nurse”.
He introduced this new center as the hub of Razavi Complex’s emergency bases and said, “Patients from all the medical centers in Razavi Shrine’s courtyards and porticos are transferred to Hedayat base and are treated under the supervision of an emergency medicine specialist”.
Director of Razavi medical institute added, “To launch and equip this center, about 480 million Tomans have been spent from Razavi health foundation’s assets”.
He continued, “Razavi Holy Shrine’s medical centers provided 110 thousand people with medical services last year out of whom five thousand patients were transferred to the Dar al-Shifa of Imam Reza (A.S.) and two thousand were sent from Dar al-Shifa to the city’s hospitals”.
