In continuation of his trip to Republic of Tatarstan, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi attended among students of Federal University of Kazan and said, “The Communism whose root was in the west migrated to the east at the beginning of the last century and was dictated, with its anti-religion face, to the republics of the Soviet Union such as Tatarstan. It could not long its age to a century, however”.
He added, “In his letter to Mr. Gorbachev, Imam Khomeini (R.A.) reminded the imminent collapse of communism and also reminded lots of truths the most important of which was the necessity of attending to God in order to achieve happiness of the two worlds”.
Grand custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said that the anti-Islam behavior and attitude was intensified with emergence of Pahlavi dynasty in Iran which had the direct support of the west. He also said that the victory of the Islamic Revolution brought this situation to its end. He further mentioned, “The collapse of two anti-religion regimes of Pahlavi and the Soviet paved the way for reviving ancient religious and cultural relations between the two countries and nations of Iran and Tatarstan”.
He emphasized, “According to the research reports, over three thousand terms of religious literature in Tatarstan have got a Persian root which is an indicator of two nations’ depth of culture”.
The West Is Seeking for a Network World

Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian elaborated the features of the “network world” era and said, “This era is trying to cross all the identities, micro cultures, nations, and even territorial sovereignty. It also strives, by relying on cyberspace, to dominate transnational governance over nations”.
We Have to Be an Active Actor rather than an Inactive One
Emphasizing that today we have to use thought and endeavor to form and define our position in this era and to be an active actor instead of an inactive one, he reiterated, “In addition to the virtual networking projects, the world economy empires are trying to dismantle the entities of regional nations and also to depict brutal violence under the name of religion by ISIS”
Astan Quds Razavi went on to say, “Islam is based on wisdom, science, rationality, spirituality, and ethics. What can be seen now in Asia and its central part has originated form the school of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and that of Imam Reza (A.S.)”.
Noting that Islam is the religion of rationality, naturalism, morality, spirituality, and friendship among all humans with various religions, he emphasized, “The arrogant countries want to impose violence as the symbol of material man’s insatiability to the Islamic teaching. They also try to create a kind of hate toward religion among regional nations”.
The Path to Immunity from the "Network World" Era Is to Back to Our Own Civilization
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi reminded, “The only way to immunity from the era of “network world” is to return back to our own civilization. We have to stand, with thought, against cultural invasion of the west and to widespread the attention to spirituality in the world”.
He added, “In order to be away from the disadvantages of the era of “network world”, we have to protect our nations by providing a situation in which intellectuals of the two countries’ universities and scientific centers can form their discussion”. He also said, “One more act to protect the two nations is to shape cultural and scientific geography based on religious culture”.
Saying that Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine has created a spiritual atmosphere for compensating today’s gaps of humans not only for Shia but also for all the lovers of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.), he said, “As the biggest popular religious organization in the Islamic world, Astan Quds Razavi has had the responsibility of developing culture, theology, science, and even health and poverty eradication during years which has been done thanks to the supports of benefactors”.
At the end of his talk, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi reiterated, “We hope to be able to escalate dialogue between our intellectuals and your university and to reach to our goals which are really useful for the perfection of today’s man by creating scientific exchanges”.
