The 4-person group, by efforts of Astan Quds Razavi’s Center for International Affairs visited the Library, the Islamic Research Foundation, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and Astan Quds Razavi’s Museum closely and got familiar with the activities of the establishment.
“The group has traveled to the country on behalf of the agency which aims to promote interfaith interactions” the head of the group said.
“We are very interested in familiarizing with religious minorities living in Sweden. One of those is Shia religion. We took this opportunity to visit Iran and the city of Mashhad together with the head of the Shi’ite Union of Sweden” said Alain Okan.
“This trip was a great gift for us” he continued. “In this visit, we became acquainted with the history of Iran and the nation as well as with the history of Mashhad and Astan Quds Razavi.”
Expressing surprise at the visit of the Library and the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, the head of the group added, “The number and volume of exquisite and rare handwritten books and lithographs in the handwritten treasury of Astan Quds Razavi and various published works in the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi is highly commendable.”
“In this visit we found that one of the programs of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences was the provision of conferences and seminars for interfaith dialogue, which was very interesting for us” he noted.
The tourist pointed the visit to Astan Quds Razavi’s Museum and its exquisites therein and stated, “Qur’an is a valuable book that shows how the Creator is speaking to us. In this visit, we saw the old and exquisite Qur’ans and the handwriting of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) closely and we were very surprised.”
Stating that Astan Quds Razavi is an establishment that has juxtaposed all the differences very elegantly and in harmony he stated, “I thank and appreciate all officials of this sacred establishment, with who have generously provided all facilities for non-Iranian visitors.”
