The Arab manuscript day held by the library and the house of manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

the library and House of manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in cooperation with the Institute of the Arab Manuscripts of the Arab League in Cairo and the Center of the revival of the Arab scientific heritage in Baghdad University, held on Saturday the April 7, 2018 the Arab Manuscript Day in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan(PBUH) for manuscripts and seminars, under the slogan "Jerusalem, when the heritage is captive."

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of religious and academic figures, reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reading Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq followed by the national anthem and then the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Pride tune", followed by the word of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by its Secretary-General Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar.

Followed by a televised speech of the Institute of the Arabic Manuscripts of the League of Arab States in Cairo, delivered by the Director of the Institute; Dr. Faysal al-Fayyan. Followed by the word of the Center for Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage of the University of Baghdad by Director of the Center; Dr. Majid Mkhallaf.
