Kargil believers receive domes' flags of the holy shrines of Iraq.

On Thursday morning April 5, 2018, the seventh Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) in Kargil northern India, started by raising the domes' flags of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn, of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, and of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (PBUT), a ritual that was attended by large crowds since the early morning hours despite the cold weather.

This was the first time this poor city, which people have great respect and love to Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him), host such event. Therefore all shops, markets, schools were closed and roads were packed with crowds who gathered so they can see the flags of the holy shrines, along with the people of the other villages as well as the nearby areas.

The crowds gathered with love and loyalty at the entrance of the Hussayniyat Imams Ithna 'Ashari, and these rituals reminded them of the Ashura season, feeling the emotion once seeing the flags fluttering on the its pillars, remembering the tragedies of the Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas and the Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon them all).
