Ra’ad Ibraheem, the head of the Surveillance and Communications Division, said: “We accepted the invitation of the faculty. Visitors enjoyed our ward and encouraged us to do more. The instructors in the university expressed their happiness and pride at seeing our machines.”
“Our first machine is Voltera which is operated via C++ programming language. It depends on Gerber extension when executing tasks. It was made two years earlier. It prints PC board that cools the electronic parts in the electrical and electronic machines,” he explained.
“The other machine is a 3D printer. It produces plastic parts fulfilling the needs of different departments. The staffs of the division programmed this machine,” he added.
“The third machine is an advanced maps machine called CNC. It works in different fields such as inscription, sculpture, and decoration. It performs 2D and 3D pieces. It uses the C++ programming language compatible to Mach3 operating on dxf and g-code extensions,” he collaborated.
“Our other machine was Quad Copter made by the staffs of the holy shrine. It was designed by help of Solid Work and 3D Max and then changed to STL extensions,” he added.
