Announcing this news, Seyyed Muhammad Javad Hashemi Nejad said, “The number of conversions in Islam in 1393 and 1394/ 2013 and 2014 was 9, but in 1395/ 2015 this number reached to 30”.
He introduced Christianity and Buddhism as the religions of these Muslim converts and said that some of them had no religion. He also said, “These tourists were from Asian, European, and African countries such as Germany, Ukraine, Italy, China, Philippines. These people converted to Islam after thinking and studying on Islam. In doing so, they also enjoyed religious experts’ consultations on their misunderstandings about Islam”.
He added, “These new Muslims accepted Islam, as a redemptive religion, wisely and lovely and recited words of faith before the gracious Imam (A.S.)”.
Manager of Astan Quds Razavi non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Office said, “At the end, the office offered all these Muslim converted special gifts including Holy Qur’an in various languages, stone grave, a book on understanding Islam, and conversion certificate”.
