Young Australian becomes Muslim in Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

A young Australian man converted to Islam in the Razavi Holy Shrine by uttering Shahadatain. James Lee Bordman, 34, an Australian IT graduate student, after five years of continuous studying and discussion with Muslim scholars chose the religion of Islam and the Shiite and attending the Office of Management of non-Iranian pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi converted to the Islam.

About this decision he said, "I read many books about Islam and Shiite and, by comparing Islam with other religions, I found the truth of religion in Islam, and I found the missing I have been looking for years."
Bordman mentioned to one of his duties in accepting the religion of Islam as introducing the correct religion to others, saying: "In most countries, a violent wave against Islam has been formed, which has led to misleading propaganda and impedes the proper introduction of Islam to the world."
"Lack of understanding about Islam requires raising the understanding of people about this religion and explaining the right and wrong information to them", he said.
"It's difficult to get the right information and news about Islam in Australia, and it's my job to fight it and show the real Islam to others," he said
"There is not much difference between Islam and Christianity but since the Gospel has been revised several times and has undergone distortion,  my definite reason for accepting Islam is the integration of holy Qur'an", he added.
"Islam has been complementary to Christianity and I believe what has been presented by Jesus Christ was completed by Muhammad ( S.A.W. ) and in fact, Islam is complementary to former religions", he said.
Bordman, who chose the name "Ali" for himself after being Muslim, said, "Choosing this name is due to the great personality and dedication to Imam Ali (AS). He had a lot of influence in Islam and was the most honorable commander of Islam."
This Muslim convert described the Razavi Holy Shrine as a masterpiece of Muslim engineers and architects and added, "The thought and the art applied in this holy place is derived from the pure constitution inspired by devotion to the Ahl al - Bayt ( AS )."
It is notable that at the end of the ceremony, cultural gifts including the holy Qur'an in English language was dedicated to the Muslim convert by the management office of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
