Fifth International Scientific, Literary and Artistic Seclusion Festival to Be Held at Razavi Holy Shrine.

The head of the fifth international scientific, literary and artistic festival of seclusion (I'tikaf) announced the holding of this festival at the Razavi Holy Shrine.


Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Reza Takyei at the news conference on holding the fifth international scientific, literary and artistic festival of seclusion held at the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi stated, "The festival will be held at Quds auditorium of the Central Library on Thursday March 8."
"Seclusion has a divine root and is not exclusive to the religion of Islam, but also prevailing in pre-Islamic schools", he said.
Stating that before the Islamic Revolution, seclusion was excluded, confined and exclusive to a certain class, he stated, "Seclusion is now a public culture, and in the year 2016, seclusion was held in 5,500 mosques in the country with 755,000 participants, 80% of which were the young generation and this signifies the institutionalization of Seclusion ".
He mentioned to seclusion as a good tradition, adding, “Today, Seclusion is not excluded, and has been able to bring works of all classes of people in the festival call." 
"In the first festival 1627 literary works, in the second festival 1100 art works, in the third festival 110 scientific works, and in the fifth festival, 2210 scientific, literary and artistic works have been delivered to the secretariat of the fifth international scientific, literary and artistic festival of seclusion ", Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Reza Takyei added.
 Referring to the works of this round of the festival in different sections he remarked, "In scientific section 90 works, in literary section 692 works, and in artistic section we received 1128 works."
 "Also 500 works have been received from 69 countries of the world, delivered by 170 people in English, Arabic and Urdu languages", the head of the fifth international scientific, literary and artistic festival of seclusion noted.
