Poetry within the festival commemorating the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra(PBUH).

The beauty of the word and poetry had a distinguished presence in the activities of the festival of the Second Annual International Cultural Festival of the Spirit of Prophecy, where the poets from inside and outside Iraq presented poems about the Lady of the World's women (PBUH).


The poetry session was held in the central hall of the center of Siddiqa Tahira (peace be upon her) of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was full of many beautiful poems, including the poem that opened the session by the poet Umm Haider al-Waeli from Najaf Al Ashraf, followed by the poet Iman Da’bal from Bahrain and then the poet Fatima Al-Sayed Alawi from Bahrain. Then came the poem by the poet I'tidal al-Darwish from the Sultanate of Oman. And the poet Zaynab al-'Andaleeb from Kuwait presenting a poet about the birth anniversary of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her), to conclude this session by the poem of the poet Dr. 'Uhud al-'akeyli.

This poetry session also witnessed a very beautiful poetic dialogue between the two Bahraini poets Iman Da'bal and Fatima Sayed Alawi Al-Mahfouz, who mixed between the classical poetry and the popular one.

After that, a joint theater work was presented in cooperation with the Division of al-Kafeel Schools and the Education Division. It was entitled: (My ambitions), diagnosing the role of the institutional work and the positive and negative competition, and the mixing of the motives of the work in it between the sincerity to Allah the Almighty and the intuition of the love of serving people, and the personal motives and the sense of pleasure of personal success, and after the sequence of dramatic events, a voice is heard reciting a section of the Fadak speech of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her). The play was followed by a tribute to the poets who participated in the event.

In her turn, Mrs. Bushra Al-Kinani, member of the Preparatory Committee for the festival, said: "Four poets from four countries, except Iraq, were selected. The poems were received and read by a special committee and then submitted to a special committee headed by Sayed. Adnan Moussawi, to get the approval to be included in the festival, as well as the poetry dialogue."

As for Fatima Sayed Alawi from Bahrain, she explained: "The festival has dazzled us at all levels and the scientific research is very high and the preparations are very precise and highly organized, and our participation is a source of pride because I am here at the invitation of the Master Abi Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him" at the service of Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her)."
