Held under the slogan "Fatima (Peace be upon her), fayd al-Nada [the effluence of dew] and Nasim Al-Jinan [the breeze of heavens]" on Saturday afternoon March 10, 2018, corresponding to the 21st of Jumada Thaniya 1439 AH.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, the General Secretary Eng. Mohamad Al-Ashigar, and a number of members of its Board of Directors and the heads of its departments. The ceremony started by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, reading Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by listening to the anthem of the holy shrine "Tune of Pride".
After that, there was a speech by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by its Secretary-General Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar in which he presented his congratulations to the attendees, the Islamic nation and the Supreme Religious Authority for the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and then thanked all those who contributed to the organization of this festival, highlighting that the celebration of the birth anniversary of the immaculate Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) has a distinctive impact in the hearts of true believers...
This speech was followed by another speech by Dr. Michel Kaadi, a Christian writer and poet from Lebanon who is a lover of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and has many writings about them. He was unable to attend so Dr. Taghreed Haidar presented his word on his behalf stating: "Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) Is from the house that is respected by all the world, and she is a school that taught us the meaning of dignity, authenticity and noble attributes, and she was a teacher and the best orator with the finest eloquence, a pioneer, ideal and exemplar human in the world of human beings, and she is the fighter for the sake of God, Islam and the right."
The winners in the competition and other artistic competitions launched by the Preparatory Committee for the festival, were then honored.
