Under the slogan "Fatima (Peace be upon her), fayd al-Nada [the effluence of dew] and Nasim Al-Jinan [the breeze of heavens]" in the central hall of the Center of Siddiqa Tahira (peace be upon her) of the holy shrine, with the local and international presence and participation.
The opening ceremony of the festival was held with the presence of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its Secretary-General Eng. Mohamad Al-Ashigar, as well as a number of its Board of Directors members and heads of departments.
After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, there was a word for the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, who began by presenting congratulations to all Muslims, lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) on the anniversary of the birth of the Lady of all women Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), stressing that she was distinguished by the lofty status and being preferred over all the women of the world and she is a role model for them. He also reviewed part of her life rich of knowledge despite the young age, stressing the importance of following her approach and indicating that moving away from Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) is being away from Right and being closer to falsehood, and concluded his speech by announcing the opening of a center for the family and solving its problems called the "Center for Family Culture" of the holy shrine.
The speech was followed by a Quranic performance performed by a group of female students of the Qur'anic Women's Institute. Then a documentary film was also presented showing the activities of the al-Kafeel Women's Schools Division and the most important intellectual and cultural activities entrusted to it.
Then came a speech by the intellectual and Professor Sheikh Ali al-Tijani al-Samawi, in which he spoke about the life of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and the tragedies she experienced starting from the death of her father, the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) until her martyrdom. Highlighting that the calamities she experienced are a torch and light of science and knowledge that still illuminate the paths of those who follow her approach despite all the circumstances that prevented the access of these sciences and knowledge to us.
The member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, Sayed. Adnan Al-Moussawi, sang a poem about the blessed birth of the noble lady Fatima (peace be upon her), and which verses also included the praise of the officials of the center of Siddiqa Tahira (peace be upon her) and the efforts made to establish this activity.
The martyrs were recalled through a documentary film that showed the strength and steadfastness of the martyrs' families to face the orphanhood and overcome it and make them proud of it. There was also an attribute paid to a group of wives and mothers of the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the soil of this precious country.
After that, the attendees went to the opening of the exhibition of artistic activities for the winners in the artistic competition launched by the organizing committee of the festival: (the most beautiful artistic shot, the most beautiful artwork, the most beautiful calligraphy, the most beautiful painting and the most beautiful photograph).
