An English Virtuoso Converted to Islam at Razavi Holy Shrine.

At the night of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), an English virtuoso lady attended the office of non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs of Astan Quds Razavi to convert to Islam.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the director of office of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi expressed condolences for martyrdom anniversary of Fateme Zahra (S.A.), and said, "With respect to the mourning days of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (S.A.) and being in the most spiritual place, this great choice seems undoubtedly due to the favors of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.)."
"Islam is a religion that everyone needs and there are many people who have not yet found it and are looking for it", Hassan Gholampour added.
"According to the teachings of the Islamic religion, a new Muslim is like a newborn who is free of any sin and impurities, and you are at this moment like a newborn baby who has been favored specially by God", he continued.
"After years of research and without bias, I found the pure and true religion of Islam as the best and most complete religions," said the Muslim convert who is a PhD student in Islamic-Iranian art in the field of manuscripts and Shahnameh studies.
"Fortunately, most of our professors admit that Islam is not the religion of violence and terror, and many of them are influenced by the culture, religion and architecture of Islam", she said.
"Islam is a religion that has spread throughout the world and has been able to promote its thoughts, beliefs and values among nations and peoples, generating over the centuries a great civilization in a vast area of the world", she pointed.
Also referring to the West's attacks against Muslims she complained, "Unfortunately, most European countries have tough stances against the issue of veiling and dressed women, and they put pressure on Muslims."
"But given all these pressures, I freely chose the veil because I believe in God", she said.
Regarding the architecture of the Gowharshad Mosque as manifestation of magnificence of Muslim artists she added, "The art of tile work, glass work, and calligraphy of this building is a manifestation of the pure art of Muslims who devoted their works to religion and Islam."
"I have had little study about Imam Reza (A.S.), but I am very interested in researching about him", she continued.
