The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors more than 300 graduate from the first students in Iraqi Universities.

The first of the graduated students wore the dress of scientific and intellectual superiority, made by their own hands throughout their academic life to reap the fruits of their efforts in the honoring ceremony organized by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine to them in the sixth annual central ceremony to honor the first students from the graduates of Iraqi universities for the previous academic year (2016 / 2017) within the al-Kafeel youth national project.

The ceremony was started by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, listening to the Iraqi national anthem, and the anthem of al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Tune of Pride" followed by reciting Surat Al-Fatihah standing in memory of the martyrs. Then came the speech of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi in which he congratulated the students and their families on this great achievement and wishing them success in their professional lives, hoping they would offer the best to this country, which deserves a lot from them, asking God Almighty to take their hands to glory and progress, describing them the future builders of the country. And stressing that this country is only built by its own children, and only recently, young believers emerged to defend science and scholars, young men who were able with firm determination and strength to achieve this goal.

Followed by the word of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Dr. Abd al-Razzaq al-Issa, in which he expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for this good initiative, which emanates from the appreciation and respect to knowledge and scientists... There was also a word of the Iraqi universities delivered on their behalf by Dr. Amin Dawway, in which he expressed his thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for holding this ceremony, as it is with great pride that we stress that Iraqi universities provide all the assistance to state institutions in these service of our new Iraq, noting that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is the pioneer in honoring the first students and universities over the past years...

Then, the poet Haj. Ali al-Saffar from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine presented a patriotic poem about what happened to Iraq that inflamed the feelings of those present.

Then, authors of the books and publications winning in the competition of the best Hawza book held recently in the holy city of Qom, and in which the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has harvested many prizes, were honored.

Followed by honoring the universities' presidencies then the first students of the universities' graduates, who have expressed their joy for being honored in this special initiative that leaves a positive impression in their hearts and emphasizes them to progress and persevere towards advanced stages, thanks to the care and attention given to their results, which will be beneficial for them and for their families and also for the country.
