Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, this morning, among a crowd of revolutionary people of Birjand on the occasion of the February 11th Rally said, “The magnificent and spectacular congregation of February 11th this year was held with the presence of revolutionary women and men, young girls and boys and the third and fourth generations of the glorious Islamic Revolution and all the devotees of the Revolution with every political tendency.”
Member of the Expediency Council, arguing that the passionate presence of the people on the February 11th Rally is a manifestation of continuing the path of Imam and the bright ideals of the Islamic Revolution stated, “The victory of the great nation of Iran over the fully equipped government supported by the West was like a miracle that was realized by the mighty hand of the great nation of Iran on February 11th, 1979.”
“The commemoration of February 11th is not merely a symbolic move to venerate the memories of the year of 1979, but it has several messages within.
Member of the Assembly of Experts, mentioned the commemoration of the revolutionary martyrs, the renewal of the covenant with the Leadership and the Revolution, emphasizing on the integrity and unity of the Islamic nation among the messages of the February 11th and expressed, “Holding the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution every year is coincident with numerous victories for the Resistance Front, this year the bravery, courage and insight of the Islamic nation on the path to fight the Takfiri corrupted groups was presented as a victory for the Revolutionary Front.”
The New Plot of the Enemy Is the Disappointment of the Nation
He described the new enemy's plot as disappointing people with regard to the efficiency of the Islamic Revolution and the government and stated, “By the massive and insightful presence of the people on February 11th this year, this plot also failed.”
“Attempting to achieve a great goal, dynamism, moving forward and having an imam and a leader is one of the characteristics of the Islamic nation. The Islamic nation continues to progress and develop and will not go back at all” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi added.
He introduced the blessing of the guardianship, one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution and stated, “In order for the youth of the Islamic Revolution to know what favors have been achieved by Islamic Revolution in these 40 years, we must say that the blessing of the guardianship is one not comparable with any other. God has not indebted humanity for any favor but the guardianship.
“The revival of Islam was the first step that Imam (R.A.) took in the course of establishing the Islamic Revolution. The West tried to isolate Islam for many years; however, with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Islam was excluded from isolation and religion came in the main background of the people's lives” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated.
Stating that the most important crime and treachery of the Shah’s Regime against the Iranian people was that he made the country the scene of presence of Israelis and Americans he said, “An American or Israeli soldier ruled over the entire nation of Iran. Selling the national and cultural honors of Iran was a big disgrace, which the country suffered during Shah’s Regime.”
“The restoration of the spirit of dignity in the spirit of the Muslims, the creation of a state based on religion and religious teachings has been of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution” Member of the Assembly of Experts of Leadership enunciated.
“Today some introduce religion as an individual and private matter” he said “However the belief of the Imam, the Supreme Leader and true intellectuals of the country is that religion can answer all contemporary human’s questions.”
Social Secularism, Today’s Society’s Threat
“The atheistic secularism is not so threatening to the universities and the seminary schools, because spirituality is fixated in the depth of the people's existence, today what threatens society is social secularism. Some by relying on this kind of secularism would not believe the role for religion in social life, and they argue that religion can not guide the society to the peaks of the civilization” he remarked.
He then emphasized that the victories that had been granted to the Iranian people after the Islamic Revolution were due to the rule of religion on society and asserted, “Thanks to the Revolution, the Islamic awakening has developed in the region and Muslim nations have regained their Islamic identity. Perhaps the hegemony can change governments in some Islamic countries, but Islamic awakening certainly can not be annihilated.”
Imam Revived the Slogan “We Can” in the Country
“February 11th, brought dignity and pride in the nation of Iran” he stated “Some believed that Iran should always be a consumer and the West a developed community; however, Imam revived the slogan “We Can” in the Iranian nation.”
“How can a country that has a large amount of rich reserves and well-educated and efficient youths, have economic problems? If the country is struggling in some areas is the result that some do not believe in the discourses of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader and they always called for the involvement of foreigners to solve the problems” he pointed out.
“The emphasis of the Supreme Leader on the subject of resistive economy is to internalize the country's economy. When did we say we do not need the experience of others or the technologies of the day? In addition to take advantage of the domestic capacity and practical implementation of the slogan ‘We Can’ we will be able to exploit all the potentials of the country” Member of the Expediency Council noted.
“The basis of the various revolutions in the world is dependence to the East against the West or to the West against the East; however, our fathers and mothers in the Islamic Revolution have proven that the principle of neither the East nor the West can be realized in practice” he stressed.
“The uprising of February 11th 1979, was aimed at establishing social justice, which was also stressed by Imam Khomeini (R.A.). Since the beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, we have seen success in areas where works have been conducted on the basis of the Imam's and the leadership's discourse or Basij’s spirit, and wherever the actors and officials of the government avoided this discourse problems have emerged” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi said.
“The dominance of the discourse of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader on all the economic, political and social areas of the country, is a practical way of knocking out the problems” he said “It should be noted that the discourse of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution is the same discourse of religion and Islamic values. Today, the most discerning and knowledgeable person in Islamic Iran is the Supreme Leader and his words are the ones of all Iranian people.”
“The enemy seeks to divide the Islamic nation, so in the current situation, national unity and solidarity must be preserved. Bipolarity and multi-polarization of society has no meaning. We must have a coherent society” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated.
Hegemony Is After the Limitation of Islamic Revolution
“The hegemony has employed all its capabilities to limit the scope of the Islamic Revolution, so we should stand out of any alluring treaties that restricts the influence of the Iranian nation and the Islamic government in the region. Experts and relevant authorities should be sensitive to this issue and should take the necessary steps” Member of the Assembly of Experts pointed out.
“The Islamic and Iranian model of development should be set in domestic frames in accordance with religious teachings. In this discourse and model, social harms are not accepted” he expressed.
“The fight against poverty, corruption and discrimination has always been the head of the discourse of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader. Is the point that poverty and discrimination do not suit the Islamic government is a populistic statement? This issue exists in the context of the religion and the discourse of the Supreme Leader and Imam. We believe that the corruption is inappropriate for the executive departments” he enunciated.
“The fight against corruption is a popular demand, which resonated in the society on February 11th 1979, and today people are reaffirming it. People's demand is to pursue and deal adequately and timely with the discrimination and corruption” Member of the Expediency Council stated.
“Science and technology should be used to achieve advancement and development. Today, the Internet has found its way to all layers of people’s life, but as the Supreme Leader has been repeatedly emphasizing that the national communications network should be established to stay safe from threats and attacks” he stressed.
“Some countries gain 50% of their gross domestic economy from the sea, but the share of Iran in the vicinity of international waters is only 3%. Enabling these areas will create employment” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi remarked.
