A delegation from the al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts visits the Museum of Natural History in Baghdad.

In the framework of consolidating relations, working on mutual cooperation and exchange of scientific information, and in order to develop and preserve the reality of fossils and paleowater, the delegation of the al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts of the General Secretariat at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine visited the Museum of Natural History in Baghdad.


In order to witness the latest developments in the museum's display of rare and old natural resources.

During the trip, Dr Aqeel Al-Zubaidi, a specialist in geology at the museum, who was receiving the delegation, gave a detailed explanation of the museum's exhibited articles and how to mummify them, in addition to the temporal evolution of the formation of earth and fossils.

In an interview with the Head of the al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts; Professor Sadiq Lazem al-Zaidi, who headed the delegation, he said that this visit came in response to the invitation from the Museum of Natural History. Adding: "We visited this museum and we were briefed on its exhibited articles, especially fossils and paleowater, especially that we have some of them in the al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts. And we discussed with them ways of joint cooperation in the exchange of information to develop the reality of fossils and paleowater and preserve them.

It is noteworthy that the management of the al-Kafeel Museum of the treasures and manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, conducts from time to time a series of specialized visits to strengthen the contact with researchers and specialized academics in the field of museum in order to benefit from each other's experiences and open prospects for joint action.
