The procession consists of a group of women who follow the approach of Lady Fatima Az-Zahra daughter of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), started walking headed by Sayed servants and a group of children who were all wearing black as sign of grievance. They went first to the shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) then headed to the area between the two holy shrines chanting slogans of condolence about this sad occasion, then the procession walked to the shrine of the Master of martyrs Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to extend their condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of his mother Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
It is to mention that according to the statement of the head of the Department of Hussayni rituals and processions in Iraq and the Islamic world; Haj Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman to al-Kafeel Network: "The festival of the Fatimi days is one of the cultural events established by our department for ten days to hold some condolence activities that embody some stages of the life of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her). Previously, it was limited to one day only, and because such anniversary deserve more than that, we took the initiative to make the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) a small Ashura, as whatever we do we will never do enough towards the case of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), but we consider that the establishment of such events is one of the ways and mechanisms through which we can highlight her martyrdom and the injustice which she suffered."
