The mourning was on the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, proclaiming it in this great sad occasion; the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the narrations stating that it was 75 days after the martyrdom of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).
Black flags were raised and mourning banners were hung inside and outside the holy shrine and red lights were lit up to honor this sad occasion in consolation to the Prophet and Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them).
The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as usual in every year, has prepared a special program that includes many mourning activities and events from religious lectures, and the establishment of special councils dedicated to the greatness of this personality and the calamities that she suffered after the martyrdom of her father the great prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). Also, the Holy Shrine has announced its readiness to receive processions of consolation from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala.
It is worth mentioning that there is no known date for her martyrdom (peace be upon her); but there are three narrations of her death after the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) that is why the believers each year commemorate her martyrdom according to the different narrations. And her martyrdom anniversary is called the Fatimi sorrows' season.
