The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine rehabilitates the electrical and acoustic systems of the shrine of Lady Zaynab (PBUH).

Under the guidance of His Eminence Sayed. Ahmed al-Safi, the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and with the support of the administration of the holy shrine, the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that headed to the holy shrine of Lady Zaynab Al-Kobra (PBUH), has completed the third phase of the restoration of the Holy Shrine through cleaning, maintenance and decoration works.


The delegation headed to the shrine of the venerable lady (peace be upon her) undertook to complete all the works related to cleaning and decorating the wall of the Holy sanctuary and the Holy shrine, and cleaning the tomb's grid and the silver doors overlooking the Haram sanctuary, as well as cleaning the mirrors and the chandeliers. And organizing and cleaning the acoustics equipment and covering the entrances' doors with the plastic gelatine to maintain the temperature, and maintaining and fully equipping the electricity room and covering it with wood. The delegation was able to do all its work in a short time of only five days of continuous work day and night.

The delegation also carried out additional work revealed by Hajj Hassan Hilal, head of the shrine's care Department of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, who was the head of the mentioned delegation. He said in a statement: "Our cadres took down all the chandeliers of the sanctuary, to wash, clean and paint them and replace the lamps to show their proper luster. Then all the sanctuary's grid was washed for two days and then maintained completely, including gold pieces that were going to fall. And the maintenance of the vases located above the sanctuary's grid and lighting them properly. And these works also included chandeliers in the gallery next to the sanctuary's grid in addition to the cleaning of internal mirrors ".

He added: "The most important work was to connect electricity from the main station to the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) after that the power was dependent only on diesel generators, and all praise to God, the electricity was connected, in cooperation with the relevant authorities in Syria, through the extension of a 70 meters cable by erecting large columns and the maintenance of the electricity room, which was in a random shape."

In the same context, the head of the delegation said that: "We installed the acoustic equipment in the media center, opened a center of the missing and lost equipping it with modern audio devices, in addition to lighting leaflets and decorations in preparation for the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Lady Az-Zahra and of Lady Zaynab (Allah's prayers be upon both of them)."
