The Department of care of the Holy Shrine conducts the washing works of the sanctuary of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH).

The staff working in the Department of Care of the Holy Shrine of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began in coordination with the relevant departments to wash the sanctuary of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and clean the marble and disinfect it in order to preserve the mausoleum from damage.

The staff chose to conduct these works in the late hours of the night so as not to harass visitors coming to perform the Ziyarat, as the number of the visitors in these hours are few, making it easier to conduct the cleaning work. The staff, and after the completion of washing works, perfumed the place and furnished it with carpets and then incense the holy sanctuary.
It is noteworthy that the care department of the shrine is conducting washing works regularly and continuously in order to preserve the sanctity of the place and the removal of dust and black spots that may cause the erosion and damage of marble or the metal used in the sanctuary's grid.
