Gholamreza Kahlaki said, “Astan Quds Razavi intends to expand its relations with the East with the assistance of the Center for International Affairs, and for this reason, after visit of the delegation of the Museum of the History of the Religions of St. Petersburg to the museum and library of Astan Quds Razavi, as well as familiarity with the vast activities and capabilities of Astan Quds Razavi has expressed their desire to deepen the relationship.”
“Following the announcement of the readiness of the Russian delegation to establish a broader relationship with Astan Quds Razavi, it was decided that a group of experts would go to Russia next year and common planning will be considered to equip the Shia booth at the Museum of the History of the Religions of St. Petersburg” he added.
“During the meeting with the Russian delegation” he said, “while sharing the views on the conclusion of a joint memorandum, it was decided that in addition to equipping the Shia booth which will be conducted in the form of expert content, specialized meetings in the field of religions to familiarize the experts, elites and orientalist professors with original Shi'ite content through the Razavi conduct and teachings to be foreseen.”
“Following the reception of the Russian delegation of these meetings, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication of the Center for International Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, we have put the meetings’ follow-up on the agenda in order to fulfill the intentions of the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi regarding interfaith dialogue derived from Razavi conduct and the discussions of Imam Reza (A.S.) and the development of Razavi culture” he stated.
According to this official, in order to introduce Astan Quds Razavi as a core for Razavi discourse in the following Christian year, in addition to the exchange of information between Iranian and Russian experts, elites from the two countries will get ready to implement the international Imam Reza’s (A.S.) pre-conference and the dialogue of the religions.
