Al-Khawarnaq Preparatory School Holds its Annual Quranic Competition in Cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).

Mr. Ali Hussein, the headmaster of al-Khawarnaq preparatory school, said, “In cooperation with the House of the Holy Quran, we held a competition for memorizing and reciting (with the rules of intonation) the Holy Quran. The Religious Affairs Department sent us the Quran teachers from the House of the Holy Quran in the aforementioned department.”

Ali al-Mansouri, a teacher in the House of the Holy Quran, said, “Seven students participated in the competition of the recitation in which the student Ali Qaisar won the first prize. Moreover, three students participated in the competition of memorization in which the student Ahmed Qasim won the first prize.
