The Razavi Holy Shrine was filled in sorrows at the tenth night of Rabi 'al-Thani coincided with the demise anniversary of Hazrat Fatimeh Masumeh (S.A.), the great Imam Reza's (A.S.) sister.
Pilgrims came to this sacred place this night to express condolences on the departure of the sister of Imam (A.S.).
The courtyards of the holy shrine were clad in black on the night of the demise anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Masumeh (S.A.), and everywhere across the holy shrine, the mourning prayers were heard.
On this occasion, a special mourning ceremony was held in Imam Khomeini (R.A.) portico, where the panegyrists panegyrized and the lecturer of the ceremony gave speech on the virtues of her holiness.
"Imams' offspring can be divided into five categories; one of them is those who have no place among the Shiites, such as Ja'far Kazzab", Hujjat al-Islam Husseini Qomi said.
"The second group of them is those who we do not know about their tomb, such as Ali ibn Ja'far, son of Imam Sadiq (A.S.), who was very knowledgeable but now we do not know where his grave is."
This professor of the seminary of Qom recounted Sayed Muhammed, the son of Imam Hadi (A.S.), who is very well known and highly regarded among the third category and stated, "The fourth group of Imams' offspring are those who have a high rank. Their difference with the third category is that the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) have recommended their pilgrimage, such as Shah Abdul Azim Hasani."
He added, "The fifth category is those who have virtues and knowledge such as Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) and Hazrat Abbas (A.S.), besides the fact that they have pilgrimage text advised by an Infallible (A.S.).
Infallibles (A.S.) Recommendation to Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) Pilgrimage
"The Infallibles (A.S.) have consistently recommended the Shiites to visit Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) and to read her pilgrimage prayer", he continued.
Pointing out that the pilgrimage prayer of Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) represents the position of this great lady, he said, "The pilgrimage prayer of Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) represents the position of this great lady giving a thorough recognition about her holiness to the reciter, and at the end of the prayer text, we ask her to intercede in the Hereafter as she has a special place by God."
"This great lady is considered the best model for girls and women of the society, and she came to a degree of perfection in chastity, humbleness, social movement, faith, and other virtues that she was trusted by the Imam of her age," said the professor of seminary.
Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.), Symbol of virtues
Describing Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) as a symbol of virtues, he continued, "Hazrat Fatemeh Masumeh (S.A.) is a person of high standing, so that the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) have highly respected and honored her."
This cleric of the Razavi Holy Shrine said about the worship of her holiness, "She was a prominent example of worship and servitude in the household of the Imamate. She spent seventeen days and night on praying and vigil in the last days of her life during her stay at the house of "Musa bin Khazraj" in Qom, and taught the mystics a part of her worship and humbleness."
"Among characteristics of Hazrat Masumeh (S.A.) was her knowledge about the Islamic science as she was one of the narrators of traditions, and there are a number of traditions narrated by her that are mentioned by Allameh Amini (R.A.) in the book al-Ghadir", he added.
