Sunni Pilgrims from India and Pakistan Attended the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Court.

Sunni pilgrims from India and Pakistan attended the imam Raza’s (A.S.) Court to demonstrate Shi’ite and Sunni’s unity.

65 Sunni pilgrims from India and Pakistan visited the holy Mashhad for the first time to show the unity to the world through sympathy and compassion.
“The Sunnis have a special devotion for the Infallible Imams (A.S.) and the Prophet's (S.A.W.) household” Mohammad Karimzayi, the head of Pakistani caravan said “and we have come to express our gratitude to Imam Reza (A.S.) because we believe that Imam Reza (A.S.) is the patron of all the enthusiasts and devotees.”
He also spoke of the virtuous traits of Imam (A.S.) and presented him as a model for the people and said, “Compassion, kindness, forgiveness, piety, asceticism, worship and magnanimity are the good traits of this inheritor of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and for this reason, Shi’ites and Sunnis have a great interest in visiting this magnanimous Imam, and Sunnis also have a special respect for Infallible Imams (A.S.) especially Imam Reza (A.S.).”
Stressing that the blessings of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) pilgrimage in the life of the Shi’ites and Sunnis are countless and inexhaustible he pointed out, “From our point of view, the best appreciation of an individual’s personality is exercising his lifestyle and conduct.”
“Celebrating great figures in all religions is known as a culture, and since in Islam, praise is only for the Lord, so reverence and commemoration in this religion should have a deity essence and be away from superstitions” the Sunni pilgrim reiterated.
It should be noted that the Management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi hosted a variety of programs for these pilgrims, including shrine tour, movie playing, museum visit, Q & A sessions and bestowing gifts.
