Adding: "Among the stations of the team of "Doctors without wages" travelled to Jbayesh district of Dhi Qar province, in collaboration and cooperation with the Health Department of the province and al-'Ayn University in it. This station is the 11th in a series of stations and tours conducted by the team previously. Medical and treatment services were provided for free for more than 500 citizens in the specialities of internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology under the supervision of medical and nursing staff of the al-Kafeel Hospital."
Patients from the district expressed their thanks and gratitude to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and to the staff of the al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital. This is what they stated to the members of the team on this humanitarian initiative, which they were in dire need, as it is better than going to health clinics which often lack such services at this level.
It is to note that the project of "Doctors without wage", which was launched in the holy city of Karbala, aims to:
First: Check the pathological cases in the areas that suffer shortages in the presence of medical centres.
Second: Prescribing the appropriate treatment and giving it under the supervision of specialist doctors.
Third: Contributing to alleviate the burden on citizens' health.
Fourth: Education the residents of these areas medically and give them medical guidance.
Fifth: Referring the incurable cases to the hospital and supervising the appropriate treatment after diagnosis.
Sixth: To have a field view of the suffering and diseases of these areas' residents, and work to find appropriate remedies for them.
