The Comfort and Safety of Pilgrims Is the Priority of Astan Quds Razavi’s Investments.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, during a meeting with the secretaries of student organizations across the country, stated, “Astan Quds abandoned the ‘Mashhad Mall’ business project, because such expensive projects naturally lead to the supply of foreign companies’ products and this is not in agreement with national production, industrial development and the realization of Resistive Economy.”
“Astan has invested in road projects such as Chenaran-Mashhad Road. Although such investments have less economic gains than commercial construction projects, it is a measure for the comfort and safety of pilgrims and this is in the direction of our strategy” Board Member of the Assembly of Experts said.
“In the past, Astan Quds had only internal auditing, but since the very beginning, I have also exerted external auditing. In order to realize financial transparency in Astan Quds, I invited the top auditing institution of the country to audit all the subsidiary companies of Astan Quds” Member of the Expediency Council expressed.  
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, also pointed out his nomination in the presidential election in the year 2017 and said, “My nomination in the election was a duty and this did not happen unless after several public and elites’ requests; so if I return to the past, I would make the same decision as that day. I have no doubts about the accuracy of my decision and I do not regret even one percent.”
