Rendering Service to the Poor is a Service to Imam Reza (A.S.) and also a Reason for Human’s Spiritual Promotion.

Speaking among Razavi Shrine’s servants, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Mulimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi introduced voluntary working in Razavi complex as a divine blessing and a great honor. He said, “In Islam’s viewpoint, rendering service to others is not for the personal interest or an inner calmness; rather for the God and his satisfaction”.
Noting that to attract other people’s attention, drawing more interests or consolidating position are the aims of serving others in non-religious perspective, member of the Expediency Council stressed, “In Islam, however, God and fulfilling His satisfaction is the only important issue”. 
Saying that serving and other similar activities are not related to Islamic Iran and even Muslims, member of the Assembly of Experts’ managing board emphasized, “Service is a universal issue with various titles”.
 
There Is No Room for Personal Interests in Serving Others
Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi noted, “In the framework of religion, fulfilling God’s satisfaction is the goal of rendering service to others and personal interests and gaining inner calmness are not followed as goals”.
Member of the Expediency Council said, “Being attentive to the people’s problems and helping them is among the examples of giving service to Imam Reza (A.S.). These services will lead to God’s satisfaction and spiritual promotion of the mankind”.
Noting that there are various areas for giving service, he stated, “Whatever activity which seeks God’s satisfaction as the main goal is holy by itself as it is the endeavors of a matron who does her house activities with this intention in mind or a man who strives to afford his family’s expenses”. 
Serving Hazrat Reza (A.S.) Is Higher than any Other Service
Addressing servants of the Razavi Holy Shrine, custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Being a Razavi servant in Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine is a great honor for everybody which is comparable with no other activity. It is because servants of this complex are giving service to an infallible Imam (A.S.) who is a representation of all the divine names and serving him is a dream for all the angels”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, custodian of Astan Quds Razavi referred to the importance of discipline in this holy organization and added, “In addition to serving and attending to pilgrims’ demands and also meeting their needs as the special guest of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), servants of this illuminated shrine have to do their greatest effort to maintain discipline and since the smallest problem in this shrine will create lots of problems”. 
Member of the Assembly of Experts’ managing board referred to the pilgrimage of four million people during Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) martyrdom anniversary and a stated, “Thanks to the special attention of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), Razavi pilgrims had a pleasant pilgrimage this year during last ten days of Safar”.
Updating servants’ information of the Razavi Holy Shrine was introduced by him as a necessity which every servant must pay attention. He also added, “Servants are the first representative of Astan Quds Razavi and the main source for answering pilgrims’ questions”.
