Chief of research and introduction office of assistance of Astan Quds Razavi’s museums talked about this issue and said, “A very unique Qur’an with Persian translation and five interpretations has been put into public display at Astan Quds Razavi’s museum. Writings of translation and interpretation of this Qur’an which has been created by Doust Muhammad Heravi, Iran’s salient calligrapher in tenth century AH, are Nastaliq and Naskh respectively.
Emphasizing that this valuable Qura’n has got 763 sheets and its size is 26× 42.8 cm, Javad Farahmand Nejad said, “Hosseini interpretation by Molla Hossein Waezi Kashefi, Shia scholar, in Persian alongside with four interpretations by Sunni scholars such as Baydawi, Madarek, Jalallin, and Kashshaaf in Arabic can be seen in the margins of the work”. Farahmand Nejad also mentioned that this work of art was written in 1671 dedicated in 1803.
He reiterated, “A selection of antiques, spiritual and artistic objects presented to Ayatollah Khamenei by salient Iranian figures and also foreign leaders from various ethnicities and religions are in display at various halls of the museum of Supreme Leader’s gifts”. He also said, “All these objects represents Islamic unity”.
“Among these objects calligraphy tableau of “انما المؤمنون اخوه” (Believers are Brothers) and a tableau with colorful stones dedicated in 2016 by Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Sattar, Syrian endowments minister, can be referred”, Farahmand Nejad went on.
He added, “Mosaic model of Qubbat al-Sakhrah mosque made up of shell and also Toreutics cooper tray of “القدس لنا” (Quds Is Ours) dedicated by Ahamd Jebraeil, people’s front for the liberation of Palestine’s secretary general , and International conference for the support of the Palestinian people held in Tehran in 1994, respectively”.
Chief of the research office of museums’ assistance said, “Copper plate of Bidari with word “Allah” in its middle and “Tohid Surah” in its margins dedicated by India’s prime minister in 1997, landscape tableau made up of polyester and mirror dedicated by Ekmal youth population of Republic of Azerbaijan, Haji Javad mosque of Baku, and crystal sugar bowl in golden color dedicated by Turkey’s organization of humanitarian aids in 2016 have been presented”.
He added, “Silver olive tree is an object offered in 1395/ 2016 by Rashed al-Ghanoushi, leader of Tunisian Islamist groups, and a clay vase with “Allah” mark on it given by people of Harare, Zimbabwe”.
Farahmand Nejad stated, “Golden sign of “Quds’ Qubbat al-Sakhrah mosque” offered by Abd al-Naser Jabri, head of Islamic propagation University in Lebanon and mark of al-Mosqafin al-Arab academy offered in 1378/ 1999 were objects which have been presented by Lebanon to the Islamic Revolution’s leader”. He also said, “These objects are kept in museum of supreme leaders’ gifts”.
Regarding to Chinese objects, he said, “Metal tray decorated by enamels of flower and leaf given by Professor Haj Na’man Mashian and memorial plate of Islamic population of China is two objects offered by this country”.
Chief of research and introduction of assistance office of Astan Quds Razavi’s museums continued, “Also, two sided Torkaman rug which was given by Sunni scholars and Torkaman people of Raz and Jargalan in North Khorasan is also in display for the interested people”.
It is reminded that pilgrims and citizens who are interested in art can visit the museum of supreme leader’s gifts located in Kawthar Courtyard of Razavi Holy Shrine since Saturday to Wednesday from 8 to 12:30. On Thursdays, they can visit from 8 to 11:30 and on Fridays and holidays from 8 to 12.
