The Eighth Shipment of Doors and Windows of Hazrat Fatima’s (S.A.) Portico at Alavi Holy Shrine Was Sent.

The eighth shipment of door and windows of Hazrat Fatima’s (S.A.) portico was sent, on the eve of leadership (Willayat) of Hazrat Mahdi (A.S.), by Astan Quds Razavi’s wood industry company.

Muhammad Javad Tabasi, supervisor of Astan Quds Razavi’s wood industry company stated, “These materials and equipment which include 200 doors and windows belong to Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) portico in Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy Shrine”.
He continued, “The whole size of the project is 3000 square meters and 2700 square meters of which has ever been sent to Najaf.
Tabasi added, “1600 square meters of this project have been fixed in pilgrimage places of the shrine”.
Regarding kind of these wooden structures, he said, “Doors and windows of this project have been built by teak and beech wood which are in accordance with Najaf’s climate changes”. He also said, “These woods are from the best kind of broad leaves”.
Tabasi went on, “Chinese knots and forms and also mosaics are among the arts used in these works”.
Supervisor of Astan Quds Razavi’s wood industry company added, “Doors and windows of Hazrat Fatima’s (S.A.) portico is a combination of wood modern engineering and geometry of Islamic architecture’s arts in holy Shrines”.
