“Accepting the Guardianship by the Iranian Nation Is the Result of the Blessings of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Teachings”

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at the oration ceremony of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) martyrdom night, which was attended by Razavi Court’s servants in the Islamic Revolutionary Courtyard of Razavi Holy Shrine, stating that the Islamic laws has ordinances and results noted, “The ordinances of the Shari'a are religious do’s and don’ts, and the results are the goals that will be achieved by these ordinances.”
“Creating the Islamic utopia and the formation of all relations in the Islamic society based on religion and religious teachings, is the ultimate goal of the Shari'a. Spirituality, ethics, security and social justice are among the main characteristics of the Islamic utopia” Member of the Expediency Council added.
He stated that the Prophet (S.A.W.) taught humanity in Medina that if you want to get rid of ignorance, the only way is “ O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you...” and asserted, “Unfortunately, some are trying to separate the ‘moral leadership’ from the ‘political leadership’. Medina was formed with the religious and political management of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and he exhibited there how to administer the Islamic society.”
He stated the reason for the ignorance spirit, and following the reactionary and descending path by Islamic society as a result of obeying the disbelievers and said, “The Prophet (S.A.W.) warned many times against the return of the Islamic society to the era of ignorance and mentioned the solution to the salvation as obedience to the Prophet and the Infallible Imams’ (A.S.) conduct. But unfortunately the Islamic community forgot the advice of the Prophet and became divided.”
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, introduced the key to domination of the Umayyads and Abbasid over Muslims, in the forgotten position of “Guardianship” and “Accepting Guardianship” and expressed, “In the history of Islam, wherever the Islamic community obeyed the guardianship, gained the pride and victory and when it pursued the wishes and satisfaction of others, has faced challenges.”
Board Member of the Assembly of Experts, referring to the fact that Imam Reza (A.S.) at the time of entering the land of Khorasan, expressing the tradition “There is no god but Allah is my fortress whoever chants this, enters my fortress and whoever enters my fortress shall be safe from my punishment There are few conditions and I am one of its conditions” taught us the guardianship, reiterated, “Today, thanks to Husseini Ashura, the blood of the martyrs, and the insight building of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader, the great nation of Islamic Iran, has found the way to obey the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) commands and the Muslim nations also, following our nation has taken the path to seek the righteousness and freedom.”
Stressing that wiping ignorance from Muslim nations and Islamic awakening roots from the blessings of the martyrs’ blood and would definitely be an introduction to the awakening of the world, he enunciated, “Imam Reza (A.S.) says ‘If people knew the beauties of our words, they would have followed us’ And today the universities, seminary schools, artists, scholars, and Islamic media must make efforts to bring these merits to the humanity, and if so, the people of the world will surely follow this magnanimous Imam.”
“Today, the tendency of the world to spirituality and the pure Islam is more than ever and this has put us in a heavy burden” said the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.
Expressing that accepting guardianship, which is prevalent today among our nation stems from the blessings of the statements and teachings of Imam Reza (A.S.), he commented, “In the earthquake of the western part of the country, which caused the deaths of many families, immediately after the orders of the Supreme Leader, the entire country gathered to assist the earthquake victims.”
“We commemorate the Azeri language speakers, who lost their lives last year in the tragic accident of the Tabriz-Mashhad train, as well as the compatriots in the earthquake in the West part of the country, and I pray to God for their high position, forgiveness and broad mercy” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi also said in a part of his speech.
