Sayyed Muhammad Jawad Hasheminejad stated, "During the mourning days of the demise of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hasan Mujtaba (A.S.) and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.), special programs have been prepared in the Razavi Holy Shrine among them holding of cultural contests for non-Persian pilgrims of the Razavi Holy Shrine."
Noting that these days is a good opportunity for propagation of the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt (A.S.), dissemination of behavioral patterns of the Imams (A.S.) and promoting the Islamic lifestyle, he said, "In these days, contests in Arabic, Urdu, Turkish-Azerbaijani, and English languafes and for tourists have been designed for different ages to provide valuable information to the audience."
"Urdu-speaking pilgrims' contests are held after the prayers of Maghrib and Isha in the Kowthar portico, Arabic-speaking pilgrims' contests are held at night before and after the prayers of the Maghrib and Isha in the Ghadir portico, for Turkish and Azeri speakers before and after the noon and afternoon prayers in Dar al-Rahmah and for tourists at morning in the Ghadir portico. The winners will be awarded gifts as memorials", Hasheminejad added.
Noting that the design of the questions of the contests is based on the productions of the Islamic Communication Office of non-Iranian pilgrims, he stated, "The role of children of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) in Islamic history, the secrets of prayer in the words of Imam Reza (A.S.), the outcomes of Imam Reza's pilgrimage (A.S.), the visage of the worshipers in the Qur'an, the works and blessings of prayer, the prayer as the last order of the Imams (A.S.) are among the subjects of the contest."
